Print out the two fluency assessment sheets below. As you watch the video use the assessment sheets and record the findings. You can practise many times and discuss your findings.

Use a reading fluency rubric to assess Cayden’s reading fluency as he reads a narrative text, The Snake Olympics. Circle the appropriate descriptors on the sheet. Discuss your findings.
